Media Library
The Media Library is where you upload and organize the images UIEngine uses — membership tier artwork, class and event images, and other assets. Once an image is in the library, you can pick it wherever the app asks for a picture instead of re-uploading it each time.
Used by: Admin and Super Admin.
What it is for
Images are stored centrally so they can be reused. When you edit a class, event, or membership level and it asks for an image, you pick from the library rather than uploading the same file again. Keeping assets here means one place to update artwork and consistent images across the portal.
Uploading and organizing
- Go to https://admin.uibeta.org/admin/media.
- Upload an image from your computer.
- Organize with folders and tags so you can find things later. Tags are handy for grouping by purpose (e.g. a semester, a program) across folders.
- Use search and folders to locate an existing asset.
You can rename, re-tag, move, and delete assets. Deleting an asset removes it from the library, so make sure it is not in use first.
Deleting an image in use
If you delete an asset that a class, event, or membership level still points to, that item can end up with a missing image. Check where an image is used before deleting it, or replace it rather than removing it.
Picking an image elsewhere
When you edit a product (class, event, or membership level) and it offers an image picker, it draws from this same library. Upload once here, then reuse the asset wherever you need it.
